To improve sustainability

At Resort Land & Zee, we prioritize sustainability, and every day we work tirelessly to make our resort more sustainable.

First and foremost, we comply with all legal sustainability regulations as stipulated by the Dutch government.

But we do much more!

In the past 1.5 years alone, we have invested in a hybrid heat pump for heating our hotel rooms, installed electric charging stations for our guests' electric cars, and covered two roofs with solar panels – both on the hotel roof and the large storage shed at the back of our property.

How it works?

You decide how many trees we plant.

If you inform the reception in advance during your multi-day stay about which days you do not want your hotel room to be cleaned, we will arrange for one tree to be planted.

This only works if you stay with us for multiple nights, as it concerns the interim cleaning of your room. Once you indicate (again, only for multi-day stays, the final cleaning must of course be done), we save costs by not cleaning your room, not providing new towels, and not making the bed.

With the costs we save, we will have a tree planted through Hotels For Trees. You can also choose to skip the cleaning every other day.

For example, if you stay with us for 5 nights and inform the reception that you do not want cleaning on day 2 and day 4 of your stay, you will still have cleaning on day 3 – but we will plant 2 trees on your behalf!

With the costs we save, we will have one tree planted per day through Hotels For Trees.

And recently, we have entered into a partnership with Hotels For Trees, and we are very proud of it! This non-profit organization plants trees all over the world, including in the Netherlands (specifically in Limburg and Brabant). This is, of course, a fantastic concept. Since its founding in 2021, Hotels For Trees has already planted more than 572,402 trees, and this number continues to rise.
